Update #1

We have run into major problems while designing the levels around our typing based game and were considering switching the core mechanic of our game, but upon reflection with Steve we have decided to stick with it and modified our original idea of an open world turn based typing game into an adventure/puzzle game where typing is still the core mechanic and the player's interactions with the environment as well as movement is dependent entirely on typing. We are currently finishing our first prototype of a level and our ideas to make it more interesting is to focus more on the wordplay element in typing and incorporate it into our game through the form of having the words that at first cause the expected result on the environment, but gradually as the level progresses then the words start acting more unpredictably (for example, when prompted with doing an action to a bottle of water, the word "drop" might just simply drop the bottle at the beginning, but later on the word drop might cause a chandelier to drop onto the bottle instead). We are working on finishing the proof of concept that is due at the end of the week.
